Starting from the Kuramae station, go perpendicular to the Edo dori, until the shinhori street, continue 3 more blocks and turn left, continue until the kuramae bashi street, on the left side there is the entrance for the Torigoe shrine (founded in 651).
Go back to Shinhori street and turn left and continue for four blocks, turn left again and continue until kokusai street, continue three more block and turn right again and continue two more blocks until Kuramae shrine (founded in 1693). This area is full of wholesale retailers; some of them also sell to regular customers at a discounted price.
Go left and continue until Kosusai street, turn right and continue until you reach kaminari street, the left side of the street is full of traditional stores in business for a long time, take time to visit some of them.
Continue until Kaminari gate, pass through the gate and visit the nakamise where the small shops sell a large variety of souvenirs.
Continue until Senso ji, turn left and visit the Asakusa Shrine at the left of Senso ji.
Go back and continue from the back of Senso ji and visit the small streets of Asakusa shoping district, taking a detour to the Edo shitamashi traditional arts museum, go back and continue until Asakusa station.

It is also interesting to continue walking north to Minami Senju.
Indeed, I am investigating for a good walking course for Minami Senju. The Senju area in general is full of historical places.
