Kaminakazato to Ueno walk

Kyu Fukuhara garden Almost 10K of urban walk with gardens, temples, and cultural sites stops. Residence Kyu fukuhara garden The walk starts on Kaminakazato JR station, go up the hill in front of the station until you reach Hongo street, Hiratsuka temple is located on that crossing, cross the street and continue to left until you reach the magnificent Kyu-furukawa gardens a block ahead. Rikugien naka no shima Follow the street as is bends right, continue walking along for around 25 minutes until you get to the entrance of the rikuguen. Soseki Natsume original house location Continue walking along the street for 40 minutes until you reach mukagaoka high school, turn left and continue until you reach Nippon Medical school hospital, make a small detour to your left to visit the site where the house of the writer Natsume Soseki use to be located. Nezu shrine Walk back to the the Nippon Medical school and continue down the road until you reach Nezu shirne, walk to the shrine grounds and exit on the opposite side, turn right and make your way back to Hongo street. akamon red gate Once on Hongo Street, go left until you reach the red gate of Tokyo university, make sure you visit the pond inside, unless there is an special event entrance is allowed. Shinobazu pond Go back to the red gate and continue on Hongo street until you reach Kasuga street, continue to the left until you reach Yushima tengu shrine, continue along kasuga street until; you reach the Yushima station, turn left now and walk to Shinobasu pond and to Ueno park to finish this walk.

Take care of yourself. I think Sendai shi was hit very hard and so was the harbor city of Shiogama. I have sent emails to friends there but am getting no response yet.

Thanks, Tokio was hit hardly but is nothing compared with Sendai. At this moment land rescue can't reach the affected areas, and rescue is done by choppers.
